Day 296 –
How will people know if others do not go?
Romans 10:14-17 “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
Often we get so disappointed when we see those we think should live a “changed” life yet they still act like unbelievers. Have you ever thought maybe they just don’t know the truth of the gospel? Maybe no one has taken the time to share the Word of God with them. Maybe, just maybe, you are that “One” who is to share the Gospel with them.
This is a conviction I feel often!
Just before Jesus left this earth, He commissioned all of His disciples to go into Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world.
God said, Who should I send, and Jesus said, Send Me.
And then Jesus sent US once He’d completed His Mission on this earth.
He created each of us with a special purpose in mind to specifically reach some”One“ for Him. He told us to lace up our shoes and Go.
Go to your family, Go to your neighbor, Go to your city, state, country, and around the world. Go. Share the specific, beautiful, testimony you’ve been given so that the world will know. They cannot know unless you’ve told them, and they cannot be transformed unless they know.
What’s holding you back?
Let this be your morning prayer as it is also mine for those I love…
“Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.” Romans 10:1.
Now lace up your shoes and GO!
