It’s about Time?!

Day 324 –

Have you ever wondered what time will be like in Heaven?

2 Peter 3:8-9 “But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”

On earth we tend to focus on “Time”.

We only have 60 seconds in an minute, 60 minutes in an hour, and 24 hours in a day. No matter how much we try, there is no way to increase the number of hours to get everything done before the new day occurs.

Each day we have to choose between 50 really good things to decide which is the Right thing we should do. And because of this, there is NO “Time” for Drama!

Our children are growing up before our very eyes, and before we can even blink they will no longer be babies. Our loved ones are growing older and will pass on when it’s their “Time” to go.

You’ve over stayed your “Time” when conflict and disturbances start among the kids. Don’t waste your tears or your “Time” on the small stuff and the event you just did, well it went over the allotted “Time” You were given.

We have a countdown of days until the next Big thing, and with only 365 days in a year and only 9 left until December, the 25 Days until Christmas movie countdown will begin.

Oh and then there’s the “Time” you better make for shopping!

We have a calendar for every division in our life, each one has a paper calendar and a different color code in our phone calendar. But with all of this focus on “Time” we may be wasting the precious “Time” God has given us here on Earth.

On earth, “Time” may seem to fly by, but in Heaven it hardly passes.

One day in Heaven is 1000 on earth, which means each year on earth is only 1 minute 26 seconds and 4 milliseconds in Heaven.

Instead of fretting about our “Time” on earth, we should be filling it with Love and Joy, Laughter and Friendships, making the most of our Heavenly hours to come.

Just think, our loved ones that have gone on before us will only be without us for mere minutes or hours. With that in mind, I’ve decided to live on God’s “Time” and not my own.

Would you consider joining me on this adventure? Let’s make our time worth every Heavenly Minute.

Now that’s about Time!
