Day 345 –
On the 10th Day of Christmas – Jesus was born into the World.
Luke 2:1-2 “At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.”
At the time of Jesus’ birth the world was still turning and the government still working. People had to follow the rules and function within an imperfect world.
There’s no difference today!
We as Christians can’t expect the world around us to be perfect, instead we must live in the world perfectly in Christ’s will.
It is OUR duty to love, walk humbly, and bring His good news everywhere we go.
We may be in the world but not of the world as Christians. Yet, we should always be aware of the world, as the world continues turning around us.
Don’t let the world bring you down, instead bring the world UP by filling the world with Joy as Christ did also.
John 17:13, 16-18 “Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.”
Go…live in the world…filling it with Joy. Don’t let the world live in you…filling you with hate.
