Holy in the Hard

It can be in our hardest times that we find the most Holy of Moments.

Little specks of light through cracks in the jars of our life. These are like small glimpses of God all over the walls of our being.

When we’re hurting and healing, finding strength in the pain, we are feeling the visible parts of God. And this strength alone comes from Jesus holding us, filling us up with more of Him.

“Three times I pleaded for the LORD to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

Whether it’s peace as you weep on the floor, courage as you walk through the door, Love after loss, or grace from the Cross; its all Jesus.

The hard times make us and mold us the most, giving us opportunity for a Testimony in which we can Boast.

“Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

And through these times we gain cracks in our jars of clay, letting the light from within have a place for display.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

In the HARD TIMES where we find ourselves BROKEN, Jesus takes all of our brokenness and puts it back together. He mends our hard and broken places, MAKING them even MORE BEAUTIFUL in the Most HOLY of MOMENTS.

So, Let the Light within you, from the Light of Life, pour out of ALL your Broken Places to bring His Light to the World around you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for all the work you’ve done in putting my life back together, for all the mending you have done in the hard places in my life. Please forgive me for not always trusting you and glorifying you in the work you alone are doing. Help me to open my eyes and see the light you are pouring through these places and the little gifts you give in each of these Holy moments. You are a God of Light and the God of the Hard places. Let me use ALL of me to Glorify ALL of You.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
